&lt;p>The study is part of a research project "Pseudocarbynes: A New Class of Carbon-chain Materials", which was financially sponsored by the Keck Foundation and conducted primarily at Arizona State University.&lt;/p>
&lt;p>The dataset contains one powder x-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern, nineteen raw images/ spectra/ electron-diffraction-patterns from (scanning) transmission electron microscopy ((S)TEM), and one CIF file for the optimized crystal structure of Au-pseudocarbyne(C6), which is a gold-stabilized, C6-chain-based member of the pseudocarbyne family.&lt;/p></dcterms:description><dcterms:subject>Chemistry</dcterms:subject><dcterms:language>English</dcterms:language><dcterms:IsCitedBy>Wu, J., Tarakeshwar, P., Sayres, S.
