The primary underlying data is archived by NASA Planetary Data System (PDS). This subset includes additional data (one spreadsheet and eighteen images) not archived by NASA.

The spreadsheet contains the fitting results for 133 MESSENGER XRS flare spectra reported in Nittler et al. (Chromium on Mercury: New results from the MESSENGER X-Ray Spectrometer and implications for the innermost planet’s geochemical evolution).

As discussed in the paper, the Cr/Si and Fe/Si ratios are corrected for the phase angle effect. Both corrected, and uncorrected data are provided for Cr/Si. Error bars are one-sigma. Errors are statistical, and systematic error bars may be larger. MXRS data are available from the NASA PDS.

Dataset contains 18 images, 1 spreadsheet - 'crflaredata.csv,' and 1 README documentation file providing the methodology and variable information. Approximately 3 megabytes.
</dcterms:description><dcterms:subject>Astronomy and Astrophysics</dcterms:subject><dcterms:subject>Mercury (Planet)</dcterms:subject><dcterms:subject>MESSENGER mission</dcterms:subject><dcterms:subject>Chromium</dcterms:subject><dcterms:subject>Spectrum analysis</dcterms:subject><dcterms:isReferencedBy>L.
