Abstract:

<p>Single-sided deaf listeners fit with a cochlear implant (CI) were presented a clean signal to their CI ear and then an altered version of the clean signal to their normal hearing ear. The patient was asked to report how the signal to the normal hearing ear needed to be modified to sound like the signal in the CI ear.</p> <p>Two visual files show the test procedure. (mp4)</p> <p>The audio files are of matches to CI sound quality. (WAV)</p>
